Two upcoming expansions for Dead Island 2

A Dead Island sequel has long been anticipated by fans of the series. Before that game was ever finished, it took a very long time. Most of us have probably already finished the game's campaign by the time we got our hands on a copy and are curious about what may come next. Fortunately, there is additional material planned, beginning with a release later this year, if you like the game. Two new expansions are being released onto the market by Dambuster Studios.

Insider Gaming's research has informed us that Dambuster Studios will release two Dead Island 2 expansions. There isn't a lot of information available about the video game expansions at the moment, but at least we know they are in development and should have more information sooner rather than later. It's important to keep in mind that they are expansions with a strong emphasis on the story, and the first of the two won't be released until later this year.

The game's first expansion, Haus, is anticipated for the fourth quarter of 2023. The only thing we do know about Haus is that it will be about a millionaire who starts a techno-death cult to be ready for the end of the world. We will receive the SOLA Festival extension in Q2 of 2024. Due to the fact that this is themed on a party, prepare to deal with throngs of youthful attendees.

Haus

How does a billionaire prepare for the zompocalypse? A techno-death cult with a healthy splash of debauchery and gore! The first story expansion, Haus, will release in Q4, 2023.

SOLA Festival

Welcome to the SOLA festival, where LA’s party people can greenwash their way to ecstasy and save the planet, one rave at a time. So L.A! SOLA Festival, will launch in Q2, 2024.

Of course, there are few specifics, and it's unclear whether there will be any new protagonists in these expansions. The premium character packs and the Til Dawn Collection are two in-game content packs that you may download, even though these expansions could still be under development and not yet ready for release. Direct access to further details is available on the Dead Island website.

As previously established, Dead Island 2 is now available for purchase on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms if you don't already have a copy.
