The Xbox announcement of Playground Games' Fable revival came a few years ago, but the game is now prepared for the limelight. The forthcoming role-playing game made a comeback as part of the Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, reuniting longstanding fans with a franchise that helped define Microsoft's first Xbox system.
At the Xbox Games Showcase, a brand-new trailer made its premiere. It was pretty amazing and gave fans their first detailed look at the next Fable. The idea of playing as a physically little person in a kingdom of giants is rather entertaining. It appears that the game will include the actor Richard Ayoade. View the trailer down below.
The next Fable will debut on Xbox Game Pass on the exact same day as all of Microsoft's titles. However, no release date was disclosed.
The second Playground Games team, which was created alongside the first one and is still primarily dedicated to the Forza Horizon series, is now working on Fable. After Fable 3 in 2010, Fable will be the series' next major release. While waiting for the multiplayer game Fable Legends to come out of beta, we were given the Kinect-focused Fable: The Journey spin-off and the card game Fable Fortune.
